Citing influences of D'Angelo, Stevie Wonder and Frank Ocean seems like a pretty decent starting-point, and this is exactly where Samm Henshaw begins his journey. The 21 year-old South Londoner has already been dubbed by Spotify as a one to watch for 2016 and, having signed to Columbia, 'Our Love' foreshadows massive mainstream success for the newcomer. Effortlessly blending classic soul with contemporary RnB, this new cut, taken from his forthcoming The Sound Experiment 2 EP, is based on a true story his Father told him as a child, about dating his Mother, and allows Henshaw's wonderfully impassioned vocal to work away above a real-band groove, so central to what he is doing.
